I wanted my blog's name to be obvious about what it's all about. So, I came up with this name “Chitrasutra”. Chitra in sanskrit is art and Sutra in sanskrit is ‘principle’ or ‘tip’. I wish to come up with a link between the art and principles used to execute that art. At Chitrasutra you will find me giving tips, ideas for creating art pieces and crafts to decorate your home.

hi.... i was in my 9th standard when i came to know abt raja ravi varma my sister gave me a greeting card which had his painting called "Damayanthi and hamsa".....he is truly an amazing artist.... recently i finished an other ravi varma painting and 2 other oil paintings.... i will uplaod the pics ASAP!!! and i just loved ur blog :)
